    10 10 wins

    Thursday, July 17, 2008, 07:50 PM [General]

Well this past tuesday was a tie 10 to 10 but the funny thing was we bowled this Team the 2nd week of this summer league and we tied 10 to 10.

The one bowler on the other team even commented before the match that we will probably split again.  Funny thing was she was 100% correct.

It was a good battle with Tom Dolan throwing 5 strikes under massive amounts of pressure to win the last game by 2 pins.  It was a battle.  It was down to the wire and it was 4 strikes to 5 strikes in a row.  It was great stuff and Great bowling Tom.

He rolled his Storm Special agent but wait!  He has two now?  What the.....  Yes it is true Tom Dolan has two of the same bowling balls.  One drilled for a early hook and one to go long and snap and it is the same bowling ball.  The Storm Special Agent. was a very popular ball for its day but has been discontinued by storm so Tom went out and bought another  here before he couldn't get his hands on another one.  Tony Colatruglio from www.bigdaddysproshop.com maped and drilled them up perfect for Tom's game.

I even picked up one of those balls myself but it isn't working as well for me as it is for Tom.  He seems to have that ball dialed in.  Myself on the other hand still struggling.  I need to make a change or something.  Probably all mental.

    Thanks

    Horrible night of bowling

    Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 11:12 AM [General]

I figured out what i did wrong  last nite.

It is a mistake I made before bowling

When i was cleaning the special agent bowling ball  the scuff marks on the track line of the ball wouldn't come off. So i figured I resurface it again but i used the wrong pad (because they all look the same) and technicly changed the surface for the ball to go longer and didn't use the same pad as last time that ruffed it up

Last week this ball hooked like a monster with the correct grit on it but of course I screwed up by making a mistake.  Oh well I guess I learned that I can't rush around and do a hurry up job on my bowling ball cleaning and resurfacing.

If it wasn't for my partner Tom Dolan bowling a couple good games and winning all of our 4 points we would of completely lost every point.

Oh well I also am hearing complaints from friends that bowl in the league that they laid down some serious oil last nite.  Not the usual house shot.  I heard it might be because they have the PBA experience league on the same day as our league.  I best break out the heavy goo balls.

I'm not 100% sure exactly what's causing it, but I will take your advice and see if that helps. Thanks.

Sounds like my house last year, except our machine crapped out completely! We didn't have any oil for about two months - bone dry lanes.
